Mission Statement- “Called by our baptism, we the followers of Christ at St. Andrew’s Parish, invite all to share their time, talent, and treasure, as we seek justice and charity for those in need.”

Christian Cupboard

Volunteers for our on-site food pantry collect, sort, stock, and distribute non-perishable groceries donated by generous parishioners throughout the year. Also, the ministry conducts Holiday Food Basket drives benefiting individuals and households at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

Ministry Leader- Maria Williams

Nursing Home Ministry

Volunteers visit residents at our local nursing homes. Most volunteers visit the person they are matched with weekly or bi-weekly. Their visits bring much needed friendship and support to residents who eagerly await visits from their St. Andrew’s friends.

Local Outreach Ministry

This ministry helps parishioners and nearby community residents in time of emergencies and temporary crisis. Among those assisted are the unemployed, transitionally homeless, single mothers, seniors, struggling veterans and people with serious illness and disabilities.

Assistance can range from securing and delivering food, providing meals, clothing, furniture and household items. We investigate and make referrals to county and outside programs offering subsidized housing, women’s services, veterans services and more. Also, the ministry serves families through our Annual Backpack and School Uniform Drive, and Christmas Giving Tree Project.

Joseph's House of Camden Ministry

Each month loving home chefs prepare large casseroles for delivery to Joseph’s House of Camden homeless shelter. Casseroles are collected and delivered the last Thursday of each month. In addition, at different times of the year toiletries, socks/footwear, blankets and winters coats are collected and donated to Joseph’s House.
