The Renaissance Center

Senior Ministry at St. Andrew the Apostle

Welcome to the Renaissance Center!

Our parish community encourages and helps to build strong social networks that support our faith, foster companionship, and form a support network through our programs. The Renaissance Center is a place where seniors are able to stay connected to their peers and the parish community, and make a difference in each other’s lives.

The Renaissance Center stands as a beacon of fellowship and vitality for older adults in our community. Designed as a welcoming space for seniors, the center offers much more than a place to gather—it cultivates a sense of belonging and purpose through meaningful social and spiritual engagement.

Meeting every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am to 1pm, The Renaissance Center invites seniors to reconnect with friends, participate in enriching activities, and enjoy nourishing meals together. Each gathering begins with a continental breakfast and continues with a nutritious lunch, ensuring both body and spirit are well cared for.

The center’s diverse and lively programming is crafted to promote healthy living and independence. Seniors can take part in a variety of fun activities, including friendly games, movie showings, group discussions, and engaging presentations that spark curiosity and engage the mind.

Social activities are thoughtfully designed to encourage connection, while spiritual enrichment opportunities help nurture the spirit. Intergenerational activities further foster a sense of community, and informative presentations offer practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

As vital members of our parish, seniors are encouraged to stay connected with their faith community. The Renaissance Center’s parish-based senior day ministry enables older adults to maintain their independence while building lasting friendships and nurturing their spiritual lives.

All are welcome to join these lively weekly gatherings for great food, fun, and fellowship in a warm, supportive environment!  Please plan to join us.  We'd love to see you and have us join our friendly, welcoming group!
