CGA = Charitable Gift Annuities

Charitable Gift Annuities are giving plans that appeal to many parishioners who cannot give in amounts large enough to warrant a separate trusts/gift mechanism. Charitable gift annuities make fixed annual payments of principal and interest for life to whomever the Donor names (self and/or another). Charitable Gift Annuities are designed to make the promised annual payments for the life of the Donor(S) ; and to provide, on average, at least 50% (the residuum) of the original gift to be used by St. Andrew the Apostle Parish at the Donor's death. The gift to the Parish at death is what makes Charitable Gift Annuities different from commercial annuities.

The annual payments from Charitable Gift Annuities should always be lower what would be received from commercial annuities. What makes Charitable Gift Annuities worthwhile to Donors is the value that the giver's place on giving and the annual payments they receive. Many charities do not offer opportunities to give through Charitable Gift Annuities. St. Andrew the Apostle has a Charitable Gift Annuity Program. If you would like an estimate on the annual payment you might receive through a Charitable Gift Annuity, please provide the amount of the CGA you would like to establish, along with your current age. For additional information, please complete the form on the sidebar.
