"The Way"
"The Way" is our traditional religious education curriculum. Classes are offered for children grades 1-6. Gatherings are held weekly in the evening during the months of Sept-May. Families are asked to join in at least 1 event per child throughout the year.

Our curriculum includes:
~ Scripture Study
~ Prayer and worship
~ History, tradition and teachings of the church
~ Participation in the life of the parish
~ Service to the community
All programs are led by teams of parishioners and/or catechists. If you are interested in volunteering in our program, please call the office.

WCC - Whole Community Catechesis

This religious education curriculum offers simultaneous learning. Parents gather to discuss Sunday readings and truths of the Catholic Faith, while children from Pre-K through grade 6 learn the same truths at their levels.

WCC is offered Sept - May and gatherings are held twice a month for children and once a month for adults on designated Sundays, beginning with a Sunday morning Mass. Two to three inter-generational events will be held throughout the year where families experience faith together. Often family members come together and formulate ideas on how they can live the faith at home!

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based religious formation for children. It seeks to create and facilitate a sacred, “hands-on” space for children called an atrium, in which both the children and their catechists can hear, ponder, and celebrate the most essential mysteries of the Christian faith as revealed in the Scriptures and the Liturgy. The program is offered to grades Pre-K through grade 6. Gatherings are held bi-weekly on Sundays beginning with mass or weekly in the evenings from Sept - May.

Special Needs Program

This is our individulized Spiritual Formation curriculum designed for children and families with special needs. Gatherings are held bi-weekly on Sunday mornings from September through May.

Growing in Faith Together (GIFT)

This religious education curriculum offers the opportunity for families to pray together, learn together and fellowship together. Parents and children participate together through scripture study, presentations, discussions and activities. It is offered to grades 1 - 6 during the months of Sept - May. Gatherings are bi-weekly, with our Sunday classes beginning with a Sunday Mass. At least one parent must accompany the child or children.

Confirmation Preparation

This program is offered to our youth beginning with grades 7. It is specifically designed to prepare our youth for the sacrament of Confirmation. Gatherings are held twice a month from Sept - May. Mass will be celebrated with the youth on Sunday evenings.
